My Approach

Welcome! My name is Jeffrey, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. I look to offer therapy that is accessible and affordable to Canadian’s and have a desire to help those in need. My approach to therapy is one that is client-centered and collaborative, where we can work together towards goals that are important to you. I always want your input and together we can troubleshoot any issues along the way and use your strengths to our advantage.

Finding the right therapist is hard, so I offer you to book in for a free 15-minute consultation with me at a time that works best for you! During this consultation, we can get to know each other and I hope to show you a non-judgmental and warm environment in which we can work together in.

Since everybody is looking for something different to get out of therapy, I try to tailor each session to your unique needs using a variety of different modalities. I have training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Applied Behavioural Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Solution-focused Therapy. With these many modalities to choose from, I try to choose one with you to fit your goals and needs.

Individual Therapy

Our one-on-one sessions provide a supportive space to explore what matters most to you. Whether you're seeking to build coping skills, gain a fresh perspective, better understand your emotional patterns, or simply have a space to talk things through — we're here to help.

Together, we’ll clarify your goals and work toward them using a collaborative, solution-focused, and values-driven approach tailored to your needs.

Family Therapy

Families can face many challenges — from communication breakdowns to life transitions or shifting dynamics. Family therapy at The Leap Psychotherapy offers a compassionate and structured space to strengthen connection, improve understanding, and encourage meaningful cooperation.

Together, we’ll work to build healthier interactions and foster more resilient, supportive relationships for everyone involved.

Couples Therapy

Conflict is a natural part of every relationship — it’s not about avoiding disagreements, but about how you work through them together. At The Leap Psychotherapy, couples therapy offers a supportive and neutral space to explore how your individual needs are being met (or missed) and to develop healthier, more effective ways of communicating.

With compassion and neutrality, we help you navigate challenges, strengthen understanding, and build mutually supportive agreements that enhance connection and trust in your relationship.
